Sledding Fun on the Maria Waldrast Natural Sledding Run

At around 3.2 km long, the Maria Waldrast natural sledding run offers a varied sledding route and plenty of winter fun. The longest natural sledding run in the Wipptal valley leads from the Maria Waldrast Monastery Inn down to the toll booth at the start of the access road, running almost parallel to the road.

Sledding fun is guaranteed even in the evening: From Friday through Sunday, the track is lit until 10 p.m. If you don’t bring your own sled, you can rent one directly at the Klostergasthof for a small fee.
