Waldraster Water – A Spring with a History

Waldraster Water is a special treasure of Maria Waldrast. The spring water from the Marienbrunnen in front of the pilgrimage church has been prized since the 16th century. It is mentioned as a special water even in the old Waldraster miracle books.

The Unique Composition

A water analysis conducted by the University of Erlangen in June 2004 confirms the unique mineral composition of Waldraster Water. Among other things, it contains the following minerals and components:

Calcium: 493.0 mg

Magnesium: 39.6 mg

Sodium: 40.9 mg

Sulfate: 1,060.0 mg

Bicarbonate: 380.0 mg

Chloride: 51.5 mg

Nitrate: 1.0 mg
